  1. Above & Beyond feat. Richard Bedford – ‘Sun & Moon’

In my opinion, this track is the ultimate choice for a night drive, with its fast tempo, deep lyrics, and emotional resonance.

2. The Verve – Bitter Sweet Symphony

Simply genius. Mic drop.

3. Nora En Pure – Lake Arrowhead

I love so much of Nora’s music, but this one will always have a special place in my heart. The piano melody and harmony tug on just the right heartstrings. One of my most memorable performances was to this track on my violin, all while being in the pool. If you’re curious, you can check it out here:

4. Joshua Moreno – Reconciliation of a Requiem

I am a big fan of Joshua’s work, and this track is how I discovered him. I was fascinated by the symphonically complex breakdown and reached out to him to learn more. He revealed that it wasn’t a loop—there is a MIDI track for every instrument you hear in that orchestral section. In my opinion, Joshua is one of the most talented producers in the melodic house scene, capable of creating not only great beats but also deeply emotional music.

5. Bremer/McCoy – Ny Begyndelse

Even though I can’t pronounce the name of this track, it’s a beautiful acoustic cinematic piece. Its simplicity and mystery make it a song you’ll want to play on repeat.

6. Little Dragon – Twice

Another classic. I first heard this track in a TV show and was instantly mesmerized by the repetitive piano pattern, moog passages, and, of course, her outstanding voice and lyrical delivery.

7. RÜFÜS DU SOL – You Were Right

I’ll never forget hearing this track for the first time at a friend’s house. I instantly wanted to have it on repeat. It inspired me to delve even deeper into the world of Deep and Melodic House music.

8. Linkin Park – In The End

Remember MTV? This track was special to me, listening to it back home in my country on a CD. When the world lost Chester, I was deeply affected—I had never cried over a celebrity’s passing before, but this one hit hard.

9. Justin TImberlake – What Goes Around Comes Back Around

I absolutely love how the strings are arranged in this track. It’s subtle, but if you listen closely, they add a special color to the song. This track sparked my interest in learning string arrangements. I first heard it before I moved to the US, and by a stroke of fate, I got to intern with Larry Gold himself, who arranged the strings for this track and many more. It was a surreal experience.

10. Alfiya Glow – New Earth

This track is very special to me—it was the first time I felt like I allowed the creation to flow through me, and in doing so, I found my sound. Before this, I had been experimenting with many other genres. And of course, the message of this track is super special as well. If you know, you know.
