Ramiro Rossotti releases new melodic house EP, “Get Lost,” feat. Capoon remix

trueColors is a record label dedicated to releasing deep and melodic house music, and its new release is a spellbinding EP by Ramiro Rossotti.

It’s a five-track release that ranges between melodic house and Afro house, but there are also some deep house and indie dance influences.

There are four originals by Ramiro Rossotti, and a remix from Capoon, who reimagines the title track “Get Lost.” It’s the first time that Ramiro Rossotti has released his music through trueColors, and he is making his debut following music on other respected imprints such as Magician On Duty, Lump Records, and Frooogs Records.

Capoon is an established artist whose Afro-infused sound can also be heard on the likes of Rebellion, Einmusika, and Moblack Records.

“Nedu” is first on the EP, and it’s got a mystical sound layering Arabic chords over percussion that maintains a steady release of energy.  Second is the title track, “Get Lost” which has an arpeggio bassline, and intense clap rhythms forming a foundation for the trippy vocals by Miki Vos. Capoon’s remix of “Get Lost” builds a moody backing track around the original’s vocal, he strips out many of the original’s parts, and replaces them with extra drums. “Mysterious Voice” is an upbeat track that combines flowing congas with epic synths that have an expansive sound. “Dombra” is the most percussive of the original tracks, its Afro house groove has tribal drums and spinning melodies that will have people stomping round the dance floor. “Three Suns” is an atmospheric track with breezy pads and delicate piano melodies.
