Tim Engelhardt and Dr. Nicolas Pinto Launch New Music Label, LIFEFORMS

One of the industry’s brightest talents, Tim Engelhardt has served the electronic music community with an impeccable catalogue of chart-topping club records and critically acclaimed leftfield offerings over the course of his esteemed, decade-long career. A firm favourite with the likes of Scenarios, Stil Vor Talent, Watergate and Poker Flat Recordings, to name just a few, the fast-rising German native now announces the launch of his very own music label LIFEFORMS; a collaborative initiative alongside US-based French scientist and producer Dr. Nicolas Pinto that aims to empower artists through innovative technologies.

LIFEFORMS’ mission is to provide artists with a dynamic platform for authentic self-expression; not merely as a record label but as an innovative playground for creative freedom. Here, artists will not only craft their own sonic narratives, they will also gain knowledge and access to modern tools that will empower their artistic journeys. 

Whilst embracing cutting-edge technology, the imprint remains steadfast in its commitment to ensure that soulful, original music takes centre stage. Seeking to play a pivotal role in the development of artists’ careers, LIFEFORMS provides them with guidance and tools such as AI, blockchain and other inventive technologies to fully explore their artistry in the most forward-thinking way possible. 

Cementing the label’s ethos of authenticity and progression, Tim inaugurates LIFEFORMS’ catalogue with Wide Awake; a remarkable new Indie Dance cut which drops today alongside a more dancefloor-leaning Club Version. Out now, this chugging, unequivocally cool record welcomes the majestic vocal talents of German singer songwriter Jyll (Sommersville, Armada, YION) and fully embodies the diverse, eclectic nature of the label’s forthcoming output. Combining his profound knowledge for harmonies and melodic structures with his dexterity for genre cross-pollination, Tim’s inaugural release for LIFEFORMS showcases both deep artistry and profound technical prowess.

Dr. Nicolas Pinto – who was instrumental in masterminding the GenAI NFT launch of Dixon and Âme’s Innervisions’ 100^th release all the way back in 2021 – went on to say:
