Blending genres such as Melodic House, Techno, Progressive House, and Trance, Sander Wilder has developed a distinct sound that combines groove, melody, and atmosphere, creating tracks that resonate with depth and energy whilst reflecting his diverse influences and life experiences. Hey Sander Wilder, how are you? What’s been happening?
Hey there, doing great, thank you for asking. Quite active lately.
Can we start by talking about your summer plans? Tell us, are you doing any travelling? What do you have planned?
Honestly, at the moment of writing this interview, I don’t have any established plans. I think I’ll have something more concrete this month, in July. I’m thinking about Greece, Spain, and Italy; I’ll see which of them is the lucky one.
Are you planning on releasing any new music soon? Can fans expect another release over the next few months?
Yes, there is a release already planned for the 15th of July. Keep an eye on my social media and listen to my latest monthly set (Global Feelings May 2024); you will have a ‘hint’ there.
Are you gearing up to deliver any live sets over the summer?
I don’t have any live shows planned at the moment but my intention is to try and bring something in the next months.
What about your show, ‘Global Feelings’? What are you planning on bringing in the summer episodes of the show?
The same recipe as before, melodic infusion from different artists, pushing further with fresh music and new work from my side.
Have you seen any DJ sets so far this summer that have stood out to you? Have you discovered a new artist that you’re particularly excited about?
Well, the summer is still young, but there are some festivals coming up, so I’m expecting to be surprised next month. Quite impressed by Skytech’s latest work.
Are you planning on attending any DJ sets or festivals this summer?
Yes, I’m attending SAGA Bucharest in July, and there is a long list of DJ sets and acts where I’ll be present.
Do you find that the summer influences your creativity at all? Are you more productive, or do you find yourself inspired in different ways?
Many of my memorable tracks were made in the summer, so yes, it is a very good season for inspiration.
Aside from music, what hobbies are you enjoying working on this summer?
Biking, swimming, and travelling are at the top of the list for me.
What are you most looking forward to as we look ahead to your summer and the rest of the year?
I’m incredibly excited to keep my musical project alive and thriving this summer and beyond. The creative process is such a thrilling journey, and I’m looking forward to experimenting with new sounds and sharing my passion with a broader audience.
