Liverpool producer Andy Ash lands on Departure Lounge Records with When The Sunlight Comes, a five-track EP that leans into the deep, warm and reflective corners of house music without ever drifting too far from the floor. The title track sets the tone with glowing synth work, rolling acid and a wide-eyed groove, while Sunrise Acid pushes further into misty, emotional territory.
3 Feet East brings the most direct dancefloor punch, Deep Edge slows things slightly with a Hammond-rich shuffle, and Flabaire rounds things off with a dreamy, electro-tinged remix of Sunrise Acid.
