^L_’s “Music for Doomers”: A bold exploration of nihilistic soundscapes

Brazilian artist ^L_ has delivered an intriguing new release with his EP “Music for Doomers“, released on the Italian post-industrial heavy electronics label Brutal Forms. This meticulously constructed four-track EP is a punch in the stomach, inspired by a nihilistic generation that often expresses downer feelings, viewing life as a dark downward spiral that only gets worse.

The EP opens with “BDSM“, an incisive fetish-pounding gabber track that would fit perfectly on Berghain’s main dancefloor.
