Kristian Heikkila and CDTRAX release raw and hypnotic techno EP, “Between Parallels”

Kristian Heikkila and CDTRAX link up to deliver a dynamic techno EP titled, Between Parallels. The four-track release utilises raw sounds and driving energy to create hypnotic grooves with dystopian atmosphere.

The release follows Kristian Heikkila and CDTRAX’s previous collaborations on SWAY and Counter Pulse, and this one comes via their own imprint, Konstruktion.

Each of the artists is also a respected solo talent, Kristian Heikkila showcasing himself through the likes of Second State and Naked Lunch. CDTRAX is equally accomplished, working with imprints such as Kneaded Pains, On Edge Society, and CMND CTRL.

The opening track, “Detox” has industrial flicks and hammering drums fused with tense pads. “Vibe Injector” has murky atmospherics and melody bleeps forming an intense groove. “Toxic” is a bass-heavy track with vigorous claps and soulful vocal textures. “Sphere” closes the release with the building suspense of its clanging synths and rushing pads.
