JC Laurent drops new techno EP ‘Desert of Light’ on his Cielo Records

Cielo Records is a France-based label project from JC Laurent and this is the third EP entry to the catalogue that features four new tracks from himself.

Having over ten years of production experience to his name, JC Laurent has released on the likes of Coyu’s Suara, Abstract Division’s Dynamic Reflection, and Deepak Sharma’s Hidden Recordings amongst others.

The first track “Desert Of Light” is an atmospheric juggernaut with spacey analogue vibes.

“TFTSTW” turns on the IDM channel, using tribal style samples and acidic hooks.

“Conflict Attentuator” is a thundering trip of raunchy techno, deep tones and breakbeat licks.

“Palatization” closes the EP with uptempo, abstract rhythms and quirky sound design.
