Jaytech Hits His Groove: Anjunabeats Inclusion, New EP, Guest Mix, and Positronic Surge

Following a period of creative rejuvenation on home soil, Australian producer and DJ Jaytech (James Cayzer) announces a prolific summer schedule.

Following a period of creative rejuvenation on home soil, Australian producer and DJ Jaytech (James Cayzer) announces a prolific summer schedule. With a signature contribution to the prestigious Anjunabeats Volume 17 compilation, a follow-up multi-track EP, and forthcoming guest mix on Above & Beyond’s Group Therapyradio, Jaytech is firmly back in his groove.

After years of production and touring away from home, Cayzer recently returned to Australia for an extended break. This homecoming has served as more than just a hiatus; the sun-drenched landscapes and local atmosphere have seeped into his latest productions, resulting in a sound that feels both nostalgic for his progressive roots and invigorated by a fresh perspective.

The Anjunabeats Connection

The (Northern) summer heat officially begins in June with the release of Anjunabeats Volume 17, curated by Above & Beyond. Jaytech’s standout inclusion, Ultramarine, captures the signature melodic energy that has made him a cornerstone of the label for over a decade. Fans won’t have to wait long for more, as July will see the release of a dedicated three-track EP on Anjunabeats, further showcasing the depth of his recent studio endeavors.

Positronic Momentum & ABGT Guest Mix

Closer to home, Jaytech’s own imprint, Positronic Digital, has enjoyed a stellar run in 2026. Every release on the label this year has garnered support from Above & Beyond, receiving multiple plays on their Group Therapy (ABGT) radio show, along with hundreds of thousands of streams across all platforms.

Maintaining this momentum, Jaytech will take over the decks for an ABGT Guest Mix on May 22nd. During this global broadcast, he is set to premiere the forthcoming Positronic single, Ageha, a track that serves as a sonic homage to his Tokyo roots, capturing the raw energy of his first Japanese club performance two decades ago through a blend of driving rhythms and glitchy breaks.

With a career spanning over 20 years in the industry, Jaytech remains one of the progressive house genre’s most consistent figures.

Global Reach: Over 150,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Chart Success: Architect of two US iTunes #1 Dance albums (Anjunadeep 02 and 03) and three acclaimed studio albums.

Mainstage Presence: A veteran of the world’s most iconic stages, from EDC Las Vegas and Tomorrowlandto Ministry of Sound London and Amnesia Ibiza.

There’s a certain clarity that comes with being home in Australia,” says Cayzer. “I get to strip away the noise and reconnect with the sounds that first inspired me. This new music—especially tracks like ‘Ageha’ and ‘Ultramarine’—is a celebration of that headspace. It feels like I’m finally arriving back at the sound I was always meant to make.”
