About Demayä
Demayä is a ground breaking DJ-Producer known for his fearless approach to electronic music. With a penchant for defying genres and pushing the boundaries of sonic possibilities, Demayä has quickly gained recognition in the electronic music scene. His earliest release was on Calamar Records, a collaboration with label owner Moojo, a track entitled ’Je ne bois pas beaucoup’. He then went on to release ’Desperado’ on Blond:ish’s label Abracadabra, now with over 5m streams on Spotify. ‘Esperanza’ followed, with a supporting remix by Jean Claude Ades and more recently, he released his own EP entitled ’Nasty’, with a follow up single ‘Now That We Found Love’. Demayä’s music can be characterised by an eclectic taste of different cultures – afro, organic, melodic and minimalist. His tracks demonstrate a love of strong organic drums, percussion, ethnic beats and solid Berlin style Grooves.
