Christmas will come early this year for lovers of infectious dance sounds as Perfect Havoc heads back to take over Ministry of Sound’s unrivalled 103 Room on Friday, 29th November 2024. This is the third and final Ministry event of the year for Perfect Havoc and once again it features a brilliant mix of house-tinged goodness from its major players with James Haskell, Ryan Spicer b2b Ryan C, Simon Field, Adam Griffin & Alexis Knox, Josh Hunter and Midnight in Amsterdam joined by one lucky competition winner. Over in the Main Room with Perfect Havoc shining stars Alfie Cridland and Stephani B, the legendary Benny Benassi is joined by Ben Kim while more line up across the Loft and Baby Box. Perfect Havoc has established itself as the most fresh and versatile label in dance music in recent years. Co-founded by Robert Davies and Adam Griffin, the brand has clocked up several UK Top 20 singles and over 11 billion global streams and counting, always with a real focus on spotting emerging talent and giving it a platform to shine.
True to that, this show will feature a very special set from the winner of the newly launched Perfect Havoc DJ competition. This quest to find the next dance superstar will search high and low for standout talents who post an Instagram video of themselves DJing and tag it with #PHCOMPETITION. The winner will get a money-can’t-buy prize in the form of a set at the world’s most famous superclub alongside the cream of international DJ talent.
Perfect Havoc mainstay Alfie Cridland joins the Main Room bill after establishing himself with his seamless mash-ups and cross-genre mixing. From commercial house to R&B and hip-hop, he can do it all has also penned viral hits like ‘Fall Again’ with T.Matthias and ‘New Levels’ with Tobtok and Milwin, which racked up over 20 million streams and earned BBC Radio 1’s Tune Of The Week.
Manchester’s Stephani B also plays in the Main Room and will drop another of her famous live drumming/DJ hybrid performances and mashups. Her debut single ‘Sober (La Da Dee)’ was a favourite on Radio 1 and she continued to gain support on Apple Music Editorial for subsequent releases, and played standout sets at Tomorrowland and Victorious Festival amongst many more this summer.
Over in 103, James Haskell – while best known as an England rugby powerhouse – will showcase his proven skills as a DJ. He has put out great compilations on Defected with his Backrow Beats series, headlines many vital venues from Cafe Mambo to Soho Garden Dubai and brings a bold mix of dance styles.
Next up in 103 is Ryan Spicer, a mainstay of the UK underground and has been for a decade with a DJ diary that has taken him to every major club in the country. He can do it all too from deep house to main room sounds, always with a signature sense of style. He plays back-to-back with Ryan C who has a vast collection that spans electro house, deep house, tech, drum & bass and plenty in-between.
Simon Field is a Perfect Havoc regular and prolific talent who runs his own club brand, Basement in Oslo, as well as Basement Records. His music is always made on all analogue gear to give it its authentic edge and engaging texture and has picked up over 100m streams and has been synced to high-profile TV shows such as Californication and Ugly Betty.
Also playing are Perfect Havoc Head Of A&R and producer in his own right Adam Griffin, renowned Heaven London resident Alexis Knox who just dropped twisted disco banger ‘Through the Night’ on Perfect Havoc, Brighton’s multi-talented Josh Hunter who has released tracks like ‘Honest’ (feat. Salena Mastroianni) on this label, and new Dutch collective Midnight in Amsterdam who bring a deep, dark yet melodic pop and dance sound.
This Perfect Havoc Christmas Party showcase at Ministry of Sound is a perfect opportunity to take a deep dive into the label’s superb roster and get lost in its wide array of moods and grooves on one of the country’s finest sound systems.
