Billen Ted, the acclaimed production and songwriting duo, link up with breakout UK producer TeeDee and rising London singer Sissy Ford on their latest dance anthem ‘I Love You’, out Friday 12th January on Black Butter Records.
Renowned for their massive club tunes, Billen Ted deliver once again with an uptempo groover bursting with invention. ‘I Love You’ sees the duo collaborate with bassline producer Teedee, crafting a crowd pleaser around Sissy Ford’s addictive topline and topping it off with pitched-up vocal flourishes and sublime synth melodies. Setting the tone for 2024, ‘I Love You’ is another stellar addition to Billen Ted’s impressive arsenal of dance floor weapons, which already includes a UK #1 hit and a BRIT nomination.
Billen Ted are a London-based production and songwriting duo formed by Tom Hollings and Sam Brennan. Besides their work as accomplished hitmakers, they have also handled production duties for artists like 220 Kid, Becky Hill, MNEK, LANY, Rain Radio, RAYE, S1mba, Melanie C, and Gracey. After a brief stint playing in death metal bands, the pair made an unlikely transition into the world of dance and pop music with their debut single ‘Satisfied’ (2020), notching up over a million streams. In 2021 they collaborated with singers Gracey (‘Got You Covered’) and Mae Muller (‘When You’re Out’), and reached the top of both the UK Singles Chart and the UK Dance Chart with a remix of Nathan Evans’ viral hit ‘Wellerman’. The remix also earned them a BRIT Awards nomination in the category of Best British Single.
2023 has been a busy year for the duo, with smash singles including ‘Blessings’ with Punctual and ‘Do U Want Me?’ with Joel Corry, Elphi and Sam Ryder, and summer hit ‘Feel The Burn’ with Kah-Lo, as well as remix work for Rudimental, Allesandra and Tai’Aysha.
TeeDee aka Tom Dempsey is an up-and-coming bassline producer born and raised in Sheffield. 2022 was TeeDee’s breakout year, with his music and profile spreading nationally and even beginning his outreach internationally. He recently entered into the UK Official Top 10 single chart with monster hit ‘Out Of Nowhere’ after collaborating alongside Bugzy Malone and scored his first Brit-certified silver record. In 2023 TeeDee has headlined festivals and shows internationally across Europe and Australia and is making music with James Hype, ArrDee, Jess Glynne, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Ella Henderson, Cat Burns and more.
Sissy Ford is a 20 year old artist based in North London. The young talent already has impressive credentials to her name, having previously worked with the likes of Jax Jones, Kenny Beats, Talay Riley, RELYT, Disrupta and Jamal Woon to name a few. Inspired by a wide range of genres, Sissy Ford’s sound is both fresh and versatile. As she gears up for a big 2024, Sissy Ford is definitely one to watch this year.
Continuing their meteoric upward trajectory, ‘I Love You’ is set to be another fan favourite for Billen Ted. The London duo are kicking off 2024 in style.
