Bradford’s finest, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, reveal their new single, ‘Divine’, set for release on 6th September.

Spinning off in an exciting new direction from their usual UK Bassline sound, ‘Divine’ sees the Yorkshire voices of Gareth “GK” Kelly, Kane Welsh, and Sam “Clive” Robinsonride over a cool, infectious, relaxing yet driven house beat. It’s produced by Tactics (known for ‘BMW’, ‘RAINS IT POURS’, ‘DON’T WORRY ABOUT ME’) and Scott Lowe(known for work with Franky Wah, Becky Hill, and Tiesto), and was apparently inspired by Michael Bibi’s tech house slammer, ‘Hanging Tree’.

‘Divine’ comes off the heels of previous singles ‘Catch Me’, featuring MC Chippy and nine-year-old sensation MC Cruzy T, ‘Driving Season’ and ‘Tidal Wave’. Their impressive catalogue also includes 2022’s album, ‘Disrespectful’, home to smash-hit ‘BMW’, and 2020’s debut album, ‘Full Whack No Brakes’, which included breakout track, ‘450’, featuring S Dog.

After initially uploading comedy and prank videos on Facebook in 2017, Bad Boy Chiller Crew crashed into the music world in late 2018 with their loveable bassline/donk-influenced style. The Guardian named them one of 50 new artists for 2020, and in November 2021, they starred in a six-episode reality TV series on ITV2. Their album ‘Disrespectful’ was also ranked 10th in The New York Times’ Best Albums of 2022.

‘Divine’ sparks a new era for the Bad Boy Chiller Crew boys; it really does feel like this unapologetically working-class trio from Bradford is about to take over the world.
