Alex Dolby’s Affekt Recordings drops 10 Years compilation

Affekt Recordings has its base in Frosinone, Italy and has been ran by Alex Dolby since 2012 culminating a passion for raw, hypnotic techno. The label’s back catalogue of music has seen artists like Evod, Divide, Alex Bau, VSK, MTD, and Mental Resonance make contributions.

Affekt is celebrating 10 Years this month with a huge 33 track VA compilation of unreleased works and classic tracks from their extensive archive featuring Jonas Kopp, Inigo Kennedy, Stanislav Tolkachev, Grindvik, Albert Chiovenda, Temudo and many more.

The artists included on this gripping package have collectively featured on esteemed labels ranging from Jeff Mills’ Axis, Kr!z’s Token, Bas Mooy’s Mord, Ben Sims’ Symbolism and Berlin’s famous Tresor to name only a few.

There are such a vast array of works to be discovered here that it showcases a range of techno styles with rough textures and tough rhythms. Analogue techno at its best, this contemporary selection includes experimental and abstract ideas, to more club focused DJ weapons aimed at the dance floor.
