M-22 deliver new club anthem with ‘The One’ featuring Blair

M-22, the critically acclaimed British-German DJ and production duo, is back with their latest dance anthem ‘The One’ featuring EDM artist Blair, out this Friday 21st July on Spinnin’ Records.

Known for their dance hits, M-22 deliver once again with an addictive synth pluck melody that will have you hooked from the first note, while the track’s accompanying drums bring an irresistible groove, keeping the energy alive. Featuring sugary sweet vocals from Blair, ‘The One’ is another standout addition to M-22’s impressive discography, which includes hits like Platinum hit ‘First Time’ featuring Medina and ‘White Lies’.

EDM production duo M-22 comprises Englishman Matt James and German Frank Sanders, who made names for themselves with extensive behind-the-scenes songwriting and production & remix experience for worldwide artists such as Ed Sheeran , Anne Marie , Katy Perry , Chvrches , Bastille and Jason Derulo. Brought together by mutual friends for a writing session, the pair clicked instantly, bonding over a shared love of house music, particularly the ’90s ‘French touch’ sound. They wrote their first single, ‘Good to Be Loved’, from start to finish on the very day they met, and named their project after that date — March 22. The single, a smooth slice of slick, swinging deep house with an infectious vocal and piano hook, was an instant success.  Championed by BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, it was widely played on British and German radio on stations including Capital FM, Capital Dance, KISS FM and KISS Dance, and racked up millions of plays on streaming services. Almost immediately they were offered a record deal by Swedish house supremo Sebastian Ingrosso. Collaborations with Robin Schulz and Klingande followed, as well as remixes for Avicii, Sigala, Axwell & Ingrosso, and Sigma. The duo’s third single, ‘First Time’, featuring Medina, their largest to date went Platinum in the UK as they have surpassed 550 million streams.

With a remix package still to come, ‘The One’ is set to become a huge hit for M-22 as the duo continue to cement their place as massive EDM stars.
