From Temple Club to Budapest and ADE: Oscar Rosmano launches UND3RT3MPL3

Lisbon has been home to Oscar Rosmano’s work for years, but his next project is not staying in one place.
The DJ, producer and founder of Temple Club is launching UND3RT3MPL3, a new name that will bring together parties, international bookings and a record label. The idea comes out of the scene built around Temple, but the intention is to take that network elsewhere — starting with Lisbon, Budapest and Amsterdam.
Musically, there is a clear thread running through the project. Rosmano’s preference for progressive house, deeper club music and long-form dancefloor sounds remains at the centre, with the line-ups built around artists who operate in that space rather than following a single rigid formula.
The first UND3RT3MPL3 party takes place in Lisbon on September 26, with ZEHV, Oscar Rosmano and Marienne on the bill. A week later, on October 3, the project moves to Budapest, where Rosmano will play alongside Lloyd Barwood, Erich Von Kollar and East Cafe.
The next stop will be Amsterdam during ADE in October, although the lineup has yet to be revealed. After that, UND3RT3MPL3 returns to Lisbon, with Pete K booked for November 7 and Fran Garay for December 5.
There is a reason for the project to exist beyond a run of club nights. Temple Club has given Rosmano a base from which to work with artists, promoters and audiences, and UND3RT3MPL3 gives those connections room to move. Budapest and Amsterdam are not being treated simply as guest destinations, but as part of the project’s first stage.
The label will add another side to that operation. Alongside the events, UND3RT3MPL3 will release music and create another route for the artists involved in the project to be heard outside the club.
For Rosmano, the move is less about starting from scratch than extending something that is already there. Temple remains the point of reference, but UND3RT3MPL3 is being built with fewer geographical limits.
The first dates already give a good indication of where it is heading: Lisbon, Budapest, Amsterdam — and a sound that sits somewhere between progressive house, deeper electronics and late-night club music.
