Rameff drops middle-east inspired organic house EP ‘Kasbah Fever’

Rameff is a French organic house talent, who dazzles us with his exquisite Kasbah Fever EP on Sol Selectas, including three of his original tracks.

Living in Mexico, but originally from France, Rameff is a well-travelled artist, who alongside producing electronic music is also a pianist and percussionist.

His use of live instruments and organic percussion adds to the magnificent sound of his music, and he is able to create moods and grooves that extend beyond the dance floor.

“Kasbah Fever” is out now on Sabo’s record label Sol Selectas, and opens with the title track, which sets the tone with a disco-tinged bassline and array of distinctive vocals.

“Luxor Madness” has a similar sound pallet to the previous track, including Arabic flutes and groovy vocals, but it’s a throbbing bass and funky guitar riff taking centre stage.

“Goddess of Euphoria” has a rolling groove with flurries of Middle-Eastern melody, and majestic female vocals stretched over powerful drum rhythms.
