Boom Merchant releases slamming new techno EP, “Bolivia”

Boom Merchant knocks it out the park with a home run techno EP that merges old-school flavour with his new-school sound.

Originally from Ireland, but Living in Mexico, Boom Merchant is a skilled producer and DJ who has proven himself on the global stage. This release is his fifth EP in four months, and he shows no signs of slowing down.

The title track “Bolivia” samples a hardcore MC vocal and rave chords that give the breakdown sections a timeless sound with retro vibes. On the flip side, “Nanaman” has a familiar vocal from an ‘80s pop classic fused with gritty percussion and a juddering bass synth.

It’s an interesting release that has fun samples combined with serious grooves, and that gives it a unique sound which would stand out in most DJ sets.

Out now, the release is from the Black Square record label, which is featuring Boom Merchant for the first time. It’s a German record label, adding to Boom Merchant’s existing catalogue, which also includes the likes of T78’s Autektone, and his own imprint, Tribal Pulse.

Both of the tracks are ideal for a dark and sweaty dance floor, you can buy a copy of the release HERE.
